UNDERSTANDING RADIESSE®

More than one way
to approach support.

Radiesse® contains calcium hydroxylapatite microspheres in a gel carrier. It can provide immediate filling while stimulating collagen production. The purpose and expected effect depend on the preparation and treatment area.

Our menu includes hyperdilute Radiesse. We discuss the difference between a volume-focused plan and a diluted approach, then explain the proposed use, alternatives, and limitations before you decide.

HYPERDILUTE RADIESSE

A different preparation.
A different purpose.

Hyperdilution changes how Radiesse is used; it is not simply a smaller dose of a volumizing treatment. Your provider will explain the proposed area and whether that exact use is on-label or off-label.

Current U.S. labeling includes a specific diluted preparation for décolleté wrinkles in adults 22 and older. That does not mean every diluted use or body area is approved—or that every option is offered at our practice. Suitability is assessed individually.

YOUR VISIT

A conversation first.
A decision together.

Thoughtful care starts with listening.

  1. Share your starting point.

Discuss your goals, medical history, medications, allergies, and any previous injectable treatments. Bring available product records.

  2. Understand the recommendation.

Katie explains the proposed approach, alternatives, recovery, limitations, and cost. Ask questions and take the time you need.

  3. Make an informed choice.

If treatment is appropriate and you choose to proceed, your provider reviews consent and the plan with you.

  4. Keep the conversation open.

Leave with tailored aftercare and a follow-up plan. Know how to contact the practice with concerns.

RESULTS & AFTERCARE

Time to respond.
Space to reassess.

A volumizing preparation may produce an early visible change, while collagen-related changes develop over time. Hyperdilute treatment has different expectations. Your review plan should reflect the actual preparation and goal.

Bruising, swelling, tenderness, and lumps can occur. Follow your individual instructions, and contact your provider with new or persistent concerns.

IMPORTANT TREATMENT INFORMATION

Know the possibilities.
Understand the limits.

Injectable treatment can cause infection, nodules, allergic reactions, and other complications. Rare injection into a blood vessel can cause tissue damage, vision loss, or stroke. Seek immediate medical attention for unusual severe pain, skin discoloration, vision changes, or stroke symptoms.

Share your medical history, allergies, medications, past injections, and any tendency to form raised scars. Active infection or inflammation may mean postponing treatment. Pregnancy and breastfeeding require discussion; safety has not been established. This summary does not replace the product’s full safety information.

A LITTLE CLARITY

Your questions.
Thoughtful answers.

What is the starting price?

Radiesse starts at $800. The total depends on the amount, area, and treatment plan. Pricing is confirmed before you decide.

Is this the Radiesse + HA Blend?

No. The blend is a separate menu option combining Radiesse with hyaluronic acid filler. This page covers Radiesse and our hyperdilute option.

Can Radiesse be dissolved?

Hyaluronidase does not dissolve the calcium hydroxylapatite component. There is no simple HA-style reversal, so discuss this limitation before treatment.

Can Radiesse be used in lips?

Safety and effectiveness in the lips have not been established. Our lip filler service is a separate treatment; discuss suitable products with Katie.

What should I tell other healthcare providers?

Tell them you have received Radiesse, including where and when. Its particles can appear on X-rays and CT scans, so your imaging team should know.
