UNDERSTANDING SCULPTRA®
Build the plan.
Allow the process.
Sculptra® is a poly-L-lactic acid injectable that stimulates collagen production. It is considered for selected facial wrinkles and volume-related concerns, with changes developing gradually rather than an immediate finished result.
Your consultation explores whether a series makes sense for your goals, how much treatment may be needed, and the commitment involved. We discuss expectations before starting—not after you have committed to a course.
A SERIES, CONSIDERED TOGETHER
One visit is a step.
The plan is the whole.
The manufacturer describes an average of two to three treatment sessions over several months. Your number of visits and spacing are individualized; that average is not a prescription or a package promise.
Clinical studies reported improvement as early as one month, with results lasting up to two years. Individual outcomes vary. Temporary fullness immediately after treatment does not represent the final collagen-related change.

RESULTS & AFTERCARE
Time to respond.
Space to reassess.
Think in terms of progressive change and planned reassessment. Follow your provider’s specific aftercare instructions, including any massage guidance, and attend the recommended follow-up before deciding on more treatment.
Bruising, swelling, tenderness, and lumps can occur. Follow your individual instructions, and contact your provider with new or persistent concerns.
IMPORTANT TREATMENT INFORMATION
Know the possibilities.
Understand the limits.
Injectable treatment can cause infection, nodules, allergic reactions, and other complications. Rare injection into a blood vessel can cause tissue damage, vision loss, or stroke. Seek immediate medical attention for unusual severe pain, skin discoloration, vision changes, or stroke symptoms.
Share your medical history, allergies, medications, past injections, and any tendency to form raised scars. Active infection or inflammation may mean postponing treatment. Pregnancy and breastfeeding require discussion; safety has not been established. This summary does not replace the product’s full safety information.

Your questions.
Thoughtful answers.
What is the starting price?
Sculptra starts at $800. The amount and number of sessions affect the full plan cost, which is discussed before treatment.
Is Sculptra a traditional HA filler?
No. It uses poly-L-lactic acid and works through a gradual collagen response. Hyaluronic acid fillers have different materials, effects, and reversal options.
Will I see the final result immediately?
No. Early fullness can reflect the treatment fluid and swelling. The intended improvement develops gradually, so follow-up matters.
Can it be dissolved if I change my mind?
Sculptra is not dissolved with hyaluronidase. Discuss this limitation, realistic goals, and alternatives before beginning.
Will I need maintenance?
Possibly. Your response, goals, and changes over time guide future decisions. A maintenance schedule should follow assessment rather than an automatic promise of repeat treatment.
